Board of Trustees Vice President Role Description

The Vice President of the Board of Trustees of Center for Spiritual Living Delaware must be dedicated to the teachings of New Thought/Science of Mind.  In the absence or disability of the President, the Vice President shall fill the role of the President.  The Vice President shall also serve on the Executive Committee and shall serve as the Protocol Administrator for all official CSL Delaware meetings, including Board meetings and Membership meetings.

 

Responsibilities/Specific Duties:

 

When filling the role of the President, the Vice President shall perform all the duties of the President and shall have the same responsibilities and authority as apply to the President.

 

The Vice President (with the President, Secretary and Minister) shall serve as the Executive Committee and shall represent and generally exercise on behalf of Center for Spiritual Living Delaware all rights relating to any and all shares of any other corporation or corporations standing in the name of the center.

 

As Protocol Administrator, the Vice President will be familiar with Robert’s Rules of Order and will ensure that all Board and membership meetings are run in an orderly fashion.

 

In the event the President is unable to attend the New Member Orientation meetings, the Vice President will represent the Trustees, present the Role of the Trustees, the responsibilities/Requirements of membership and any other portions of the Orientation as determined appropriate.

 

The Vice President will assume other duties and responsibilities from time to time as are prescribed by the Board of Trustees.
