- Role
The President of Center for Spiritual Living Delaware (CSL DE) Board of Trustees must be dedicated to the teachings of New Thought/Science of Mind. The President leads all policy making groups with the support of the Board and, in general, supervises the business affairs and the properties of CSL DE.
- Responsibilities/Specific Duties
- Preside at the Board of Trustees, annual and special membership meetings of CSL DE.
- Make announcements as appropriate for the Board of Trustees at Sunday or special services.
- Be signatory for Center for Spiritual Living Delaware legal documents, agreements, contracts as needed to accomplish CSL Delaware
- Confer with the Minister and prepare an agenda for the Board of Trustees, annual and special membership meetings.
- Represent the Board of Trustees at the New Member Orientation meetings, present the Role of the Trustees, the Responsibilities/Requirements of membership and any other portions of the Orientation as determined appropriate.
- Appoint committees, except those of an ecclesiastical nature, as may be authorized by the Board and define the duties of such committees.
- Monitor the implementation of Board decisions and policies to see that they are carried out as planned.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities from time to time as prescribed by the Board of Trustees.

The President will have:
- A working knowledge of Roberts Rules of Order
- Good leadership and communication skills
- The ability to manage discussions in a focused, productive way.
