
Bruce Tatem has been playing guitar since he was seven years old when he bought his first Mel Bay music book. He was self taught but as time progressed his family members encouraged him to attend Medford School of Music in Medford, NJ and he studied with Professor Billy Ingram from the Ingram Family of Camden NJ. Bruce also plays percussion instruments in the Center for Spiritual Living DE House Band
As time moved on, Bruce was called for an audition and later was honored to name the band. Bruce chose Power Unlimited, a name synonymous with Universal Connection, and the band became a supreme force. He was also later called to audition for Philadelphia Records and became a studio musician.
Bruce’s most influential musicians are Jimmy Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Al DiMeola and Joe Satriani. He describes his personal sound as a mixture of all his musical influences and his experience of having a unique spiritual connection through his music.
